The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo model we are reviewing here includes an Intel Core i9-10980HK and an RTX 3070. The Core i9 is an 8 Core CPU with hyperthreading that can boost up to 5.3GHz; impressive, right? This laptop also includes 32GB of memory and 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD.
In gaming, we got around 2.3-2.5 hours of battery life. This lifespan can be increased by turning off the secondary display.
Lastly, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo includes a good comfortable, and detachable wrist rest that we highly recommend using during long gaming or productivity sessions. It’s thick, soft, and it will help prevent hand fatigue.
What could have been better?
As the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo is a heavy laptop, some people might find some difficulties carrying it around.
Also, in order to extend the battery life, you must disable some cool features, including the screen pad, which might affect your productivity performance.

There are few things that we didn’t appreciate with the Razer Blade 15 Advanced. First of all, during gaming or when running demanding applications, we noticed that the laptop base was getting slightly warm.
Also, we find that the Razer Blade 15 Advanced is slightly expensive, especially when compared with the Asus Rog Zephyrus.

Just like the Asus Zephyrus, the HP OMEN X 2S is also a dual-screen gaming laptop. The main screen is a 4K display, while the second one is a 1080P and is the only touchscreen display.

Now to the main part, which is gaming performance. The HP OMEN X 2S is a powerful gaming laptop equipped with an Intel i7-9750H paired with NVIDIA RTX 2080 with Max-Q. Having such a specification along with 16GB of memory makes it the perfect laptop for modern AAA titles.

What could have been better?
The first thing that we didn’t like is the size of the secondary display, which is too small.

5-Lenovo Yoga C940
Last but definitely not least is the Lenovo Yoga C940. Unlike other gaming laptops mentioned above, this laptop is way cheaper while it offers a great gaming experience.
The Lenovo Yoga C940 is a 2 in 1 gaming laptop with a display that can rotate for 360°. It thus makes it much easier to use for presenting your projects or watching your preferred TV shows.
It has a Core i7-9750H, Nvidia GTX 1650, and 16GB of RAM. At 1080P, which is the resolution of this laptop, these specs should provide you with an enjoyable gaming experience.
Of course, you will have to lower some settings to achieve high FPS in AAA games, yet even when doing so, the image quality should remain beautiful.
Other cool additional features with the Yoga C940 are the fingerprint reader and the webcam privacy shutter.
The reason why we believe that this laptop is a great choice for students is because of its battery life. At normal usage, including Web surfing, and light software, the battery lasted for more than 8 hours which is amazing.
What could have been better?
16GB of memory is the maximum you can have as it’s soldered to the motherboard. Therefore, no upgrade path is available.
